I would like to know more about them. The land adjoinging my father's in Nortumberland was owned by the Betts family. In the most recent issue of the Northumberland Society Bulletin, apparently they were wealthy, well-educated, and influential. I doubt if I have much if any direct relationship, but as ancient neighbors, there must be some bond.
