Today is a day of great celebration! The constituency spoke and the Virginia General Assembly heard your voices.Your opinion counted; your letters and emails read and heeded. Democracy is alive and well in Virginia! Please go to the Commonwealth's website and locate those 15 Delegates who voted in the affirmative. If they are from your District, do NOT return them. Write, call, and email them individually, demanding answers for their vote; reminding them that they are your Representatives while they still remain in office. Please stay as vigilant and aware as you have been on this issue. The sponsor of the bill was Senator Tommy Norment, Williamsburg. On behalf of our great grandchildren, thank you! Be sure to document this so they will know what happened here and what you did for them in February 2003. Your individual participation just made you a very important part of VA history.
