Is anyone researching this family line? John THRIFT b December 7, 1783 was the son of John and Mary THRIFT. This information was taken from the St. Stephens Parish records. By the way, can someone tell me where this parish is located. Thanks, Sue
It's located in Heathsville, county seat of Northumberland Co. There is a Church located there today. I do not know the age of the current structure. I've been meaning to write. I have developed some health problems. I went back to teaching, and then had to stop. My last day was Nov. 19. Elaine Davies daviesw@ncol.net I got that worm in my computer. I was afraid to email again! It seemed to come from genealogy contacts, but I just checked the school network, and they had the worm before we did. It got into our address book and created some surprised recipients. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susan Whittington" <Susan_Whittington@msn.com> To: <VANORTHU-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 17, 2001 6:48 PM Subject: [VANORTHU-L] John THRIFT-St. Stephens Parish > Is anyone researching this family line? > > John THRIFT b December 7, 1783 was the son of John and Mary THRIFT. There were, at one time, an Upper and Lower St. Stephen's, but by 1838, they were no longer standing. Tom Bryant
