An old newspaper article states that he was born near Richmond VA which led us to a Joseph Ledford in Caroline Co., VA. However, we are not sure this is the correct one and still don't know parents, even if it is. For sure he was in Jessamine Co., KY 1800 Census, married 1804 in Fayette Co., KY, 1810 Fayette Co., KY census, 1818 bought property in Trigg Co., KY, 1820 Trigg Co., KY census. Family records say he moved to Christian Co. (now Trigg) KY in the fall of 1815. I'll post his wives and children below. Please let me know if you have any connection to this family.
