Do you know if Samuel Withers of Talbot Co MD was related to your Withers family? Many names of the colonists in Co.'s of eastern shore of Md. also appear in VA Co.'s near the Chesapeake in those early days. Would like to hear from any Withers searchers who may have been kin of this early Samuel b before 1672, was Talbot Co official, inherited from his grandfather William Durand who was an original holder of 800 acres in Northumberland.
