He died on 22 Mar. 1692/93, having been married just over a year. On 10 May 1751, In Lancaster Co. (just across the Rappahannock River from Middlesex Co.) JOHN LEDFORD wrote his will. His legatees were his wife, Elizabeth, his son James (underage 20), and daughter Elizabeth. Has anyone found proof that MATTHEW LIDFORD OF MIDDLESEX was related to JOHN LEDFORD OF LANCASTER?
