Does anyone have any information re: RICHARD PEBWORTH who married Susan B. Norriss in 1819 in P.A. Co.? They had 2 children who grew to adulthood. Martha Ann Pebworth was born ca 1820, P.A. Co., and married Richard Land in Norfolk, Jan. 1, 1839. James Norris Pebworth was born 1831, Princess Anne Co. and married Mary Cornelia Dozier, dau. of Absalom S. Dozier and Mary Ann (Campbell) In 1808, Richard Pebworth was owed $8.12 by Thomas Pebworth, decd. and Sally Pebworth. 1783, Thomas Pebworth had married SARAH LEWELLING and had 5 people living in their household. Nov. 18, 1807 there was an appraisement of Thomas Pebworth's estate and Richard Pebworth purchased several items from his estate. 1834 - the heirs to property of Sarah Pebworth were: RICHARD PEBWORTH SARAH PEBWORTH, JR. WILLIAM B. PEBWORTH (1797-1835. He married ANN WARREN in 1821) THOMAS WILKINS (A Nancy Pebworth married Thomas Wilkens 1815) 1783, Thomas Pebworth and Sarah (Lewelling) are listed as having 5 people in their household. In 1785 they lived in Little Creek Precinct and had 9 people living in their household. I have found William (1775-1820) who in 1796 married Susanna Benthal; Abigail who in 1798 married Thomas Burgess; Martha how in 1796 married Wm. Benthall; and James, Jr. who in 1791 married Sarah Whitehurst. 1799, Thomas Pebworth sold 15 acres to John Thorowgood, Sr. Does anyone know anything about any of these people? Thanks in advance.
