    1. [VANORFOL-L] Chandler information
    2. James CHANDLER Construction accident in 1935 This is my second request for information in reference to the article listed below. I have been unsuccessful in obtaining death records from Richmond, VA. Would someone please help me confirm a date on this. I understand this incident happen doing the summer months of 1935, maybe August. Any information received would be greatly appreciated. James Aaron Chandler was employed by the Carpenter Construction Company in 1935. He was accidentally killed while working on a bridge. His wife Emma Jenkins Chandler died a few years later on February 18, 1937. They were the parents of 10 children. Emma's mother who was also named Emma and her husband Abram Jenkins raised the children in their home in a section of Norfolk, VA called Titustown. Some of the children were raised as Jenkins, the surname of their grandparents.

    1. [VANORFOL-L] GenExchange back
    2. On Monday we announced the GenExchange servers were moving and that we would be down for appr. three hours. Well, the move went smoothly enough, but there was an unfortunate problem with Internic to get them to update their records where our name servers had moved to. The old "abnormally high" work load excuse. In any event the GenExchange was unreachable unless you knew the new ip address until sometime this morning. The GenExchange is back online, and with double our previous bandwidth, making it much faster than it was previously. We greatly appreciate the patience you all have shown us and hope that your use of the GenExchange is now a more pleasant experience. Please send any questions or comments directly to me. Thank you.
