Hi - I am searching for the Boothe family - my grandfather, John Edward Boothe, moved to Norfolk about 1900 and married my grandmother, Vera Louise Fisher, daughter of Sarah Hamitt Joynes (sister of N.B. Joynes, who had a bar, I think, and a tire factory). My grandfather's brother, Walter Otis Boothe, also came to Norfolk and married into the family, too. Moseley, Jr., b. 1814 in Princess Anne Co., and his second wife Penelope Ballance, through their son, Tully Thomas Moseley, b. 1861. Surnames that married into the Moseley family in Princess Anne Co., VA, include SHIPP, EMPEROR, DAWLEY, BONNEY, CHERRY, and BALLANCE (from NC).
