    1. [VANORFOL] PAC BIRTH records and other items
    2. it's me again, You know that treasure trove that i talked about the other day? well it's bigger than i thought..... so i've data entered princess anne births 1853-1855 (still have a few more years to go) and i know there are some earlier ones too, havent' gotten to those yet. _http://www.rootsweb.com/~vaprinc2/_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~vaprinc2/) most of the place of birth locations still exist today. also my favorite part is the last column (relationship of person giving info) sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not. i also found princess anne count marriages (now my website _www.nyvagenealogy.homestead.com_ (http://www.nyvagenealogy.homestead.com) ) has pac marriages starting with 1749. but i found some pac marriages starting way earlier today,(1700) the thing is THEY are like impossible to read, that "old" english, and there is major gaps, in what's still avail. and the ones that are avail are like the most delicate thing you'd ever see. there are wholes everywhere........................will get to those another day. i also spotted a very old 1700's newspaper, (didn't look at it yet) and many more items. yummy..................... kristina _www.nyvagenealogy.homestead.com_ (http://www.nyvagenealogy.homestead.com) _http://www.rootsweb.com/~vaprinc2/_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~vaprinc2/) _http://www.rootsweb.com/~vanorfol/_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~vanorfol/) **************Ideas to please picky eaters. 1. [VANORFOL] Microfilm stuff
    2. Barbara McMahon
    3. Hi Kristina: Wow, how cool to find all those microfilms. As you are looking through PACo stuff around the early 1800's, could you keep an eye out for Moses Murden. In 1816 he married Mary Ann Wilson. I think he was dead by 1822. He's on the 1820 census and then nothing. I'm trying to prove his connection to a Revolutionary War Patriot for the DAR. His wife probably remarried but I have not found a marriage record for a Mary Ann Murden from 1822 onward, so he may have died right after the 1820 census and his wife remarried in 1820 or 1821. Or she may have died too. They lived near Kempville. Thank you for all you do for this list and the PACo. one. > >I was doing well until i found a treasure trove (cabinet) of microfilm at my >library of info not available in books! >

    2. _Princess Anne County, VAGenWeb_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~vaprinc2/) I have received a couple of interesting emails of late, one of which was someone from the CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH who worked for the sheriffs dept wanted to know the history of the sheriffs dept. I'm not gonna say what it was i was thinking, I did refer them to the library, but it wasn't as bad as when the city of chesapeake mosquito control unit person emailed me and wanted to know when they were founded.............., the most popular email lately (I've rec'd at least 4) who wanted to know if the city of Norfolk was different from the county........................ ok, ok, enough.........................I'm sorry......... but anyway. I recently very accidentally stumbled across a list of the "firsts" ministers, vestry men and guess what "sheriffs" and a map of the churches in lynnhaven parish................ so I've posted these under "churches" on the pac main page. If anyone can complete either list let me know, I haven't as of yet "found the rest of it." thanks kristina _www.nyvagenealogy.homestead.com_ (http://www.nyvagenealogy.homestead.com) _http://www.rootsweb.com/~vanorfol/_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~vanorfol/) **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
