    3. Regarding William and Elizabeth Fairfield Cady VanNorman: I posted family information on the VNFA ancestry website some time ago for those interested in that family and added more today. I agree with Stephen that William R. husband of Elmira Perrine is probably the same as this William. I found Elizabeth Fairfield Cady Vanorman in 1880, a widow living with her daughter Eleanor Blowers (Mrs. John). So I assume the 1874 date for William's death is correct (as per Lyman's bio) though I can't find a record of it.
