I am searching for information on the family of John Vance born 1801 TN and his wife, Mary Ann Holmes born 1811 TN or AL (both states were listed on various census forms). Vance 1835 5. Malinda Vance 1837 6. Pennington Vance 1838, 7. Andrew Vance 1840, 8. Tahilda or Talitha C. Vance 1844, 9. Jasper Vance 1846, 10. Sarah Vance 1847, 11. William J. Vance 1848, 12. Lucinda Vance 1852, 13. Mary Jane Evaline Vance 1854. I have a little more information on some of the children but absolutely nothing on the ancestors of John or Mary.
