I have the Vol 1, #1. issue of the new Buchanan Co Hist Soc News letter. It has some information on one line of the family of Elijah Esquire Vance, but seems to be confused as to the name of the wife of "Lige" and has some marriages performed by the same Elijah. It also has the membership roster of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church which includes some of our Vances. Grace Dotson
