I have received a letter, From a lady in Oregon who saw my query concerning Benjamin Franklin VANCE, who was born in Tenn and died in Schuyler Co, Illinois. She does not have a computer, was at her son's house, using his. She states a relative of her's, who was born in 1880, had done research on his GLOVER / VANCE family. She says John F Vance's middle name was "Fleming", and that his wife was Sarah BUSH. He further had written in his notes, that the children who moved to Jefferson Co, Illinois were Martha (Vance) ROBERTS, Nancy (Vance) HAYNIE, Margaret (Vance) DAUGHERTY, Jane M (Vance) GLOVER, and an Ira VANCE, who she thinks might possibly be my Benjamin Vance. Some, lived in Wayne Co, Mo, before moving to Illinois. This is all new information to me, and I am interested in knowing if any of you other John F Vance researchers, had this information?
