There seems to have been a close relationship between the HATFIELD and VANCE families during the first half of the 1800s. At least three Vance girls married Hatfield boys. Rebecca Vance married Samuel Hatfield in 1818 in PA (probably Fayette Co.); Rosana Vance Married Elias Hatfield, also in PA; and Rachel Vance married Jeremiah Hatfield. I think at least one Hatfield girl married a Vance, also, but I can't find that one right now. Does anyone have these families in their ancestral line?
