Hello Vance researchers, I have just received a "seemingly well documented" history concerning a William Vance, grandson of William Vance and his first wife Rachel PATTERSON, and son of Joseph and Jane (COOK) Vance. All of his siblings are buried at the Cross Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, most died young. Mentioned, is a letter from Joseph Vance, to his grandson Joseph at the age of 14. I haven't been able to study this, as I just received it, but it states that this line was proven the author of the book concerning Cross Creek Church, A.D.
