Hello cousin's and friend's, As usual I am looking for decendents of Abner Vance and Susannah (Howard) Vance, so if you decend from Abner and Susannah, drop me a line. However this week I am channeling my efforts toward finding the parents and siblings of Eliza jane Elswick. Here is what I know: James Harvey Vance s/o William Vance and Nancy (Burnsides ? ),(James Harvey Vance was Abner and Susannah's grandson) married Eliza Jane Elswick on 10-Feb-1853. I have the following children listed for James Harvey Vance and Eliza Jane Elswick: John Patton Vance William Harley Vance Rosannah Vance Malinda W. Vance Charles Thomas Vance Abner Vance James A. Vance Reece Vance. What I am looking for is Eliza Jane Elswick's parents and siblings, and of course any other info I can find about her. If anyone see's anything wrong with the information above, please let me know because this is info I have gathered from various sources, and it may not be exact! The maiden name Burnsides for the wife of William Vance is most likely not the correct name, but I feel like I need to call her something besides Nancy! When the correct name for Nancy (Burnsides ?) is found I would really appreciare someone telling me what it is, it would make me feel a lot better. Thanks a bunch everyone for putting up with me.
