The family that I am researching on is John Vance b. ca 1806 Russell County VA. he married married Marinda "Rinda" McKinney Mosley on April 24, 1850 in Carter County, TN. Marinda was first married to P. Harper Mosley they lived in Bakersville, N.C. The family eventually ended up on Bradshaw Mountain in Paynesville, WV. Any help on the ancestors of John would be greatly appreciated. John's son David Vance b. about 1850 is who I descend from. I am sure I have a lot of other cousins on the Vance list that also descend from this John and David Vance. Thanks in advance for your help. Kathy Jo
