John Eldridge Vance was a son of William Jasper Vance, my G-Grandfather. John E.was married to Louisa Theotus Babb. John Eldridge and your Mary were brother and sister, Im presuming here. Do you have Wiiliam J. Vance married to Martha Lizabeth Wilhite or Elizbeth Sharp-m- 3-12-1867, I think she married L.A. Sharp 6-17-1858 then she married William. If this is your family it's also mine. I do not have all the children of William J. Vance in front of me so I do not know for sure if Mary was a sister to John Eldridge or not. My family is in Washington County, Arkansas.If you see a mistake on here please feel free to let me know. I think William's father was John L. Vance married to Mary/Marion Ann Swagerty.
