(carl or carlton) Vance married Carrie Sturgeon in Jan. 1893 in Cass Co. IN. According to census (1900 - 1920) John Carl Vance states he is born April 1866 in PA and that his Father and Mother are from PA. But, I can't find them! John and Carrie had children: Pauline b.1894 IN, Grace K. b.1897 IN, Edmond Carl b.1899 IN, William A. b.1902 IN, and Theodore (my grandpa) b.1905 IN. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
