William VANCE, maybe by way of LA, came to AR before 1846. He married Frances WINCHESTER 2 Oct., 1846. They had children; Hope, Robert, Lucy, Agnes (my ggrandmother), Frank Edgar, May, Arthur, Stonewall I., William, Jr., and Frances W. between 1846 and 1866. William, Sr. died 5 Oct., 1892. His parents were said to have come to New Orleans, LA by ship from Belfast, Ireland. Does anyone else know this line?
