SAMUEL VANCE was born in 1726. he married ALICE CARR, daughter of NATHANIEL CARR in Winchester, VA. Their first child, DAVID VANCE, was born there on 25 Aug 1757 according to his application for a Revolutionary War pension. I would appreciate any information on this family.
