Linda, Do you know the parents of John Joseph Vance, or any of his siblings? One of my relatives is Caladonia Vance, b.1847 in GA, m.1867 in Carroll Co., GA Her father was John Chevrous Vance b. NC, her grandfather was Joseph Vance b. 1782 . Her mother was Delilah Beaver b. 1825, GA. It's probably a long shot, but there are some given names that our lines have in common....John, Joseph, Delilah. I know very little about my Vance line, so it's all a long shot.Do any of these names appear in any of your research? H.
