Does anyone know where James Vance was in the 1860 census? In 1850 he and his wife Barbara were in Boone Co., VA. He died in Labette Co., Kansas in 1872 and I believe that he is the James Vance living with a Mary A. Vance in the 1870 Osage Twp, Labette Co., KS census. Anyone out there working on Abner's boy James??? Carole
