My brother's wife's VANCE line comes from Joseph VANCE (b. ~1740, Westchester, Frederick, VA) and Rachel ALEXANDER (b. 1730, Chester Co, PA). I can't tie Joseph to parents at this point but have followed the development of the VANCEs over the last few years in hopes of making a connection.
