Ireland. Married to James Godwin of England (don't know when or where) assume it was around 1865. Her mother was listed as unknown; father as W.T. Vance, born in Ireland. Am at a BRICK WALL with her!! One problem; She is on an 1880 US Census that says she was born in Jamiaca. Don't know about that.....She and James were parents of my G Grandmother Charlotte Godwin (born in Chicago). Jane died in 1913 in Seaside, Oregon and is buried in a family plot in Portland. Thanks!
