My G G Grandmother was Margaret VANCE. She was born 10 Oct 1771 in Kentucky, married to David RUSK in 1793 in either Kentucky or Indiana and died 13 Sep 1832 in Waynetown, Montgomery County, IN and buried in Pioneer Cemetery, Waynetown County. They had 13 childrein including my G Grandfather Jonathan RUSK. David RUSK was born in Kentucky 10 May 1769 and died 10 Apr 1836. Now I am have not been able to go beyond Margaret and would appreciate it if you could let me know if you have any information on a VANCE woman who married a RUSK (or it could have been RUSH at that time).
