Anderson(Devil Anse) Hatfield was patriarch of the Hatfield clan during the famed feud. His mother was known to be a VANCE, her brother "Uncle Jim VANCE" was one of the closest advisors to the clan. I am looking for data on that VANCE line. I hope to connect them to David VANCE b. 1760 PA, d. abt 1830 TN. David was in VA in the late 1700's among many VANCE lines. waltv
