Still looking for information on the parents/siblings of Emeline and Elizabeth Vance, born MS in the 1830s. Living with a Grayson family in Wilcox or Marengo County, AL in 1850. Emeline married William James Grayson in 1852; he was killed in 1857. Emeline and her children came to Milam County, TX ca 1877 -- she remained there, living in Rockdale, until her death in 1919. Elizabeth married a DeBrule and I believe remained in Alabama. Particularly interested to know if there was a connection to Capell or Moore families from Virginia. Nancy Harwood Houston, TX
