Does anyone have a copy of the marriage record of James Vance and Barbara E. Miller who were married in Monroe Co., VA on 20 November 1820? I would love to have a copy of it...a scan or paper copy. Thanks, Carole

All names mentioned ablve are from the Butler, Wayne County MO area of Poplar Bluff and Black river Township. Edward married a Lula Solomon in KS, Jct City area and they had numerous children he then married Myrtle Barnes-Evans in the early forties she had 3 children Joe Jr , Jean and Vera Evans. Myrtle and Edward has my father Marvin Vance on january 2, 1942, there is alot of dead ends, and a lot of conflicting info. One possibility is that Nancy E Porch may of been my gfathers real mother, she died at 17 her father was Joseph P Porch and Mother Elizabeth. Any information would be more than appreciated. Ireland. Married to James Godwin of England (don't know when or where) assume it was around 1865. Her mother was listed as unknown; father as W.T. Vance, born in Ireland. Am at a BRICK WALL with her!! One problem; She is on an 1880 US Census that says she was born in Jamiaca. Don't know about that.....She and James were parents of my G Grandmother Charlotte Godwin (born in Chicago). Jane died in 1913 in Seaside, Oregon and is buried in a family plot in Portland. Thanks!
