I'm a descendant of Symon Jansen VanAersdale and Pieterje Claesen Wyckoff, residents of the Flatlands, Long Island in the late 1600's. I suppose they are the earliest members of the clan in this country. I haven't done much research on this couple, and was wondering if anyone has any good biographical data on them.
