Dear Friends, Some additional information which might help you help me. Dr. Peter VanArsdale was a physician in NYC until he died about 1858-9 while living in NY County. His widow was still living there in 1860 Census in NYC with a personal worth of $40,000. Along with her was an apparent son Peter B. VanArsdale, age 23 and they had a servant and coachman in the household. Seems they were not among the poorer folks of the neighborhood. Also they had a son William H. VanArsdale who was born about 1815 and he moved away after he married in 1858. Looking for something to tell me about Dr. Peter VanArsdale the physician. Any help is appreciated. -- Alvie L.
