I found this info last Sat. in a set of books regarding VA, and thought I'd post it for anyone who is interested and doesn't already have it. Cornelius Vanosdale and Jane Wilson m. April 2, 1785. Jane, daughter of William Wilson; surety Elibabb Wilson. Cornelius is son of Cornelius Vanosdale. Witnesses, Ralph Wilson, Elibab Wilson Unfortunately, I didn't notice what county, but suspect it to be Augusta Co. because of the following info found in the same set of books: "Records from Sept. 1789 to April 1793, District Court Page 301--List of insolvents for year 1786 in Augusta returned by Thos. Hughard, which was charged to be false and he was indicted for perjury. Cornelius Vansdal is among the several mentioned, and it was indicated that he removed to KY. On another page in the same book: List of Delinquents and Insolvents in teh Revenue Tax for 1786 given in by Thomas Hughard, Sheriff, in Second Battalion. Cornelius Vansdale is listed among the same names as the other list, it appears, but no mention is made of removal to KY. Barb, in MS
