Re: Sarah VanArsdale - born May 13, 1768, married John Monfort, died October 14, 1831......Can someone please enlighten me as to Sarah's parents. Fred Sisser indicates Isaac Van and Hannah Peterson and cites his source as "Johannes Nevius and His Descendants" by Honeyman. And yet I see other references indicating that Johannis Van and Magdalena Allen are Sarah's parents. Is there a record of birth somewhere? And how has her birthdate been derived if not from a brith record? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Janet Fenton
