Hi, all - I was just doing some research for a lady in North Carolina, and in doing so, checked the BLM records for Ohio. On 13 October 1819, provided by an act of the General Assembly of the state of Ohio, a previous act having been passed 16 February 1810, land for the use of public schools in the Virginia Military District was disposed of by auction. Listed were Simion Vanarsdoll, the NE21 section, twp. 20, range 14, and John Vanesdell, the very same section, land located in Richland Co OH. Those lands not paid for were then auctioned in Mansfield, for Richland Co., on 30 Nov 1819, and for Wayne Co., in Wooster, on 7 Dec. 1819. Sasha Stanley Greene county OH
