Hi Charles: Thank you for this letter. I was just going to write you on where we stand on the Delta Project. Thanks for the clarification. I think I will send you my copies of early Van Arsdalen family tax records and census records from the Accelerated Index Search Systems (A. I. S.)-Search 1 1607-1819 for the entire U. S. There are over 40 pages of hundreds of our Vans all over the country, with numerous spellings of the surname, in some of the earliest primary records available beginning in about 1753 for us. I will discuss my ideas about their sorting and publication in future issues in another letter to you. I will also be sending you copies of some of my oldest photos. I will pick one of Sarah Riker (1811-1905), daughter of Charles Riker [aka: Charles Suydam] and Mary Banta, and wife of William Smith Vanarsdall (1806-1851). I will also send you the big picture of the family of Charles Suydam VanArsdall (1835-1919) and George Ann Van Nuys Terhune, including most children and grandchildren with full names. I will probably through in a studio photo of my grandparents Charlie Rose Van Arsdall (1900-1954) and Bessie Alma Mullens (1903-1960), including my mom Ann and Aunt Kathy as young girls.
