A Dorland Genealogy authored by Barbara A. Barth, is currently being written. This book will probably be published in the year 2001. Continued through the 4th or 5th generation this book will untangle the mistaken relationships and correct the many errors made by John Dorland Cremer in the 1896 book "The Dorland Family in American". At this time, if someone has newly discovered information on the Dorland Family members or their spouses, you are welcome to submit your materials. All submissions must be cited and documented. Credit to the contributor's supplying any "newly" discovered information will be given. We do not wish to turn any new information away however, so if anyone feels that their information is of value, please submit it and hopefully we can find the documentation. Information taken from either the John Dorland Cremer Book or the publications by Wayne or Grant Dorland will not be accepted. If some one feels that they have information correcting "family legends" or other "long held as truth" information, please submit this also. There are still Dorlands for whom we need information and from time to time these requests to the public will be made. Your help and assistance is appreciated.
