The Jones' (dau. of Mary Ann & Thos S Rose) & first cousin (own cousin) of Wm Cole McClure went first to Johnson, Co., Ind., then after a visit William Cole McClure went. Following them was the Walters. Ivy Bird McClure was 9 yrs old when they moved to Indiana. She was named for Dr. Bird of Harrodsburg. Maud Rose mar. a Vanarsdall and still lives in Harrodsburg. Rose Hill was on by Berea Church and probably next to McClure land. There was a toll gate between McClures and Berea Church. Robert McClure, sec'y to Masons when Scottish Rite Temple was built in Indpls. Had a McClure book of these McClures. Died & widow went to California. Book also had a picture of Peter Vanarsdall.
