I have had no replies, but since the geography of my query coincides with your area of interest, I am encouraged to pose the question here: http://genforum.genealogy.com/vanarsdale/ February 24, 2000 Seeking vital statistics, parentage and family of John H. Van Arsdale, born circa 1820. He married at an unknown date, presumably circa 1845, Esther Duryee, of Cayuga, New York. This couple had the following children: Isabelle Van Arsdale and Merrium Van Arsdale (married James White). (Elsewhere among this branch of Duryees in the Cayuga area are Ammerman connections as well.) If you can help with my query, I'd be grateful to have your input! Thank you, Richard
