Virginia” there is a John Hays or John Hays, Jr. and his wife Rebakah who got a deed for a piece of land called Buffalo Bottom on the North Fork of the Holston River in 1776. In 1781 there is a Captain John Hays who was part of Captain Inglishes company. In 1782 there is a Captain John Hays who I believe was also a judge in Montgomery Co. Virginia. Does anyone know of these John Hays’ or of his descendants? I am looking for any information anyone might have on any John Hays or Hay in Montgomery Co. Virginia. Curtis Hays Pigman
