I posted a list of those available to this list (21 Oct 2005). POOR CLAIMS (drawers say 1800-1908, I could only find claims starting in 1879). SCALP CLAIMS - (1802-1891) bounties for wolves and other pesky varmints (these claims have nothing to do with Indians). STRAY CLAIMS - (1780-1853) see if your ancestor found any stray cattle or horses on his land! COMMON LAW CASES - court documents from these cases. COUNTY CLAIMS 1777-1888 CRIMINAL CASES - documents from late 1700's up. Also court cases and arrest warrants from early 1900's. JUDGEMENTS and other assorted court documents. ROAD REPORTS and CLAIMS There are a number of original documents filed under ACCOUNTS, BONDS & NOTES dated from the 1760's up. ORDINARY LICENSES Some of these documents, such as scalp claims and stray claims, are in envelopes according to year. You'll have to go through all the papers and unfold them to see if there are any you are interested in.
