Hello List, Can someone tell me what tax lists exist for 1773-1776 for Both Fincastle and Montgomery Co. And where they might be found. I am particularly interested in Personal Property Tax lists that would list someone that is not a landholder or listed as a tithable of a landowner. I am looking to verify that man and his family lived near Stroubles and Toms Creeks in 1775, they may have just arrived as a young man and his new family and may have went back north at the onset of Rev War??
