In personal effects from the New Albany, IN. Library I have a clue to my oldest researched Ingram. William F. Ingram b: 1733 in Montgomery, NC. His son Andrew Ingram b: 1758 in Granville, NC. joined the Rev. war from Montgomery, VA. There is an Andrew in the "Virginia Records of Taxpayers form 1782-1787", then Andrew purchased 300 acres in Hawkins Co., Tn. in 1791. The story goes on but my question is: Are Montgomery, VA and Montgomery, NC the same? I am not at all familiar with the Eastern coast of America's history and it has been too long since history in school but I do know county/state lines changed a lot in the beginning. Thanks for any help. dianne ingram in oregon __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Shopping - Thousands of Stores. Millions of Products. http://shopping.yahoo.com/
