    1. [VAMONTGO] Mud Pike location in 1834

    3. Is there anyone on the list that can tell me the current designation for a road once known as Mud Pike? I found this name in Early Adventures of Western Waters Vol. 1 on Page 332 as a note to the bottom of a page showing a map. There is no North Arrow on the map but I think north is probably perpendicular to to the binding. If this is the case it would place the road in a southwesterly direction from Christiansburg. VA It appears that this road passed through ancestral property of PIERCE/PEARCE (at least in 1834). Any help is much appreciated. Harry S Pierce

    3. My DeLorme' Atlas & Gazeteer, shows Rte 666, leaving Christiansburg & paralleling I81 labeled "Mud Pike Rd" It's direction is more westerly than SoWesterly. > > Is there anyone on the list that can tell me the current designation for a road once known > as Mud Pike? > > I found this name in Early Adventures of Western Waters Vol. 1 on Page 332 as a note to the bottom of > a page showing a map.
