By 1848 they were in Montgomery Co., and lived there in 1860 and 1870, in Blacksburg Township. Children: Matthew W. & Martha W. James worked as an inspector in the coal mines. At some unknown time James and Emma moved to Princeton, WV. James and Emma are buried in Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Bluefield, WV.
