The latter apparently contributed in 1872/73. 1790 - Patrick County, Virginia formed from Henry County. Legislative enactment in 1790. Organized in 1791. 1776 - Henry County Virginia formed from Pittsylvania and Patrick Counties. Legislative enactment in 1776. Organized in 1777. Patrick County gave only a small portion in 1857/58.
