The elder John Kirk was married to Rebecca Rose, daughter of Obadiah Rose. The younger John Kirk was living in Knox Co., TN after about 1805, and later moved to Indiana. The John Kirk b. 1781 married Eva Nosler/Nausler b. 1770/1780 probably in Montgomery Co. Eva's brother Boston Nosler Jr. married Sarah Kirk, daughter of the elder John Kirk, in Montgomery Co. 4 Jan 1802. Eva Nosler's sister Sophia "Soveney" Nosler married Andrew/Andreas Kissinger 18 Jan 1785 in Montgomery Co. The Kissinger/Kessinger family resided in Montgomery Co. and in Giles Co. to the present day.
