Am looking for info on John Burk(e), born 1766, possibly in Albemarle Co, VA, and died 1840's in TN. Married Effie Bodine in 1791 in Montgomery County. After leaving Montgomery County, they moved to Sevier County, TN around 1816. Names of John's children were: Hannah, Elizabeth, James, John, Jonas and William Preston.
