I looked at the 1880 census for Montgomery Co. Christianburg District. On it lists Calvin Saunders, his 2nd wife, their kids and his kids with his 1st wife's. It also list his sister in law Fanny Talliaferro, Toliaferrs or Tolliaferro. I couldn't read the letters clear. What are the chances of Fanny being the sister of his first wife? His 2nd wife, Jemima (Germina) family name was Brooks. Does anyone have any info that might help me? Or have access to the 1880 census to decipher the spelling?
