Here's my version of the Montgomery County Roll Call: Meredith Thornton (4-10-1806 / 6-1-1865) married Elizabeth "Louisa" Bowden (1816-?) on March 30, 1833 in Montgomery County, Virginia. Need Meredith's line - father was probably named Thomas Thornton. Isaac Cole (abt 1760/65 to Aug. 17, 1863) married Margaret Thompson (abt 1775 / 12-8-1853) abt 1793 in probably Montgomery County, Virginia. Looking for the parents of both. I suspect John F. Thompson and Rebecca Farley as the parents of Margaret but cannot tie to Isaac. Isaac and Margaret are buried in Oakvale, Mercer County, West Virginia. John Thomas (abt 1775 / 1838) married Phebe Blankenship (abt 1781 / aft 1860) on Feb. 7, 1797 in Montgomery County, Virginia. Looking for the parents of John Thomas - his father might have been Charles but I have no proof. Phebe's parents were Peter Blankenship and Jemima "Jenny" Perdue. Joseph Floyd McKinney (abt 1770 / 1850/60) married Elizabeth Copley (abt 1771 / ?) in Montgomery County on Dec. 20, 1791. I have the parents names but looking to extend these lines to eastern VA. Zachariah Perdue (abt 1763 / 1853) married Mary Connelly (aft 1770 / 1840/50) on June 5, 1792 in Montgomery County, Virginia. Zachariah was the son of William Perdue of Henrico County. I'm looking for the parents of Mary Connelly. Jesse Hall, Rev. War (3-22-1760 / 8-8-1848) married Catherine Huff (b. abt 1760) on Dec. 23, 1794 in Montgomery County, Virginia. Looking for information on the parents of both. I have Jesse's father listed at Benajah Hall from Rhode Island. Have no information on Catherine's parents. Peter Poff (1-27-1773 / 9-14-1830 in Montgomery Co.) married Elizabeth Pickle (abt 1768 / 4-19-1854) abt 1788 in Augusta County, VA. Looking for Elizabeth's parents - maybe Pickleheimer or something like that. Anthony Pate (b. 1702 d. abt Dec. 6, 1782 in Montgomery Co., VA) married to Sarah. Looking for Anthony's mother's name and Sarah's maiden name. Heinrich Adam Harmon (b. abt 1698 in Germany / d. 1767 on New River, Virginia) - married to Louisa Katrina ? Looking for any information on this line. Peter Deweese (7-24-1791 / 9-23-1868) married Ester Poff (dauther of above Peter Poff) on Mar. 15, 1815 in Montgomery County, Virginia. That's enough for now. Many of these lines are not dead ends - just the Montgomery County links. As I live in Virginia I'm particularily interested in finding the cemeteries of any of my ancestors.
